Can you spend one hour to pray with us to save the babies?

How important is prayer?  Without it we don’t stand a chance.  The Bible says we don’t wrestle against humans but against spiritual forces and rulers of wickedness in high places.  Ephesians 6:12

I must confess, I’ve often forgotten that, as I’ve gone into California’s State Capitol several times to voice my opposition to our elected representatives expanding abortion (aka killing human life, God’s image),  For years I’ve heard their sympathetic mantra, telling us they will make abortion “Safe and Rare”, but every year new terms are negotiated targeting poor immigrants and naïve teenagers.

Finally, in my discouragement, our Lord reminded me that I, like many Christians have been focusing on the pawns instead of the rulers of spiritual forces. How can we change this? Only through prayer.

And because of prayer, we are systematically winning on the national level.  There are more pregnancy centers than abortion clinics now. More funding is going to real health care for women and children and adoption is being promoted.  A majority of Americans now believe we should have strict limits or ban abortions altogether.  Several States have passed heart beat bills and other strong pro-life laws.

So let’s keep praying and remember our Lord Jesus Christ, the God of life and healing, is on our side.
